GPS-stabilized platforms hold position during capture passes, which reduces motion blur and frame inconsistency — both of which degrade scan mesh quality when footage is processed. Without stabilization, you introduce variables at the capture stage that compound through every downstream step. For any workflow where output fidelity matters, GPS stabilization is a baseline requirement, not a premium feature.

Foldable designs are fully compatible with structured capture workflows provided the camera and stabilization specs are adequate for your output target. The folding mechanism affects portability, not flight performance or image pipeline integrity.
